A mum who was bitten on the buttocks by a rottweiler is calling for the dog to be put down.
Alison Brown was bitten as she walked towards the dog and her owner.
Miss Brown, who lives on the Isle of Grain, said she then turned away from the dog but it jumped up and bit her bottom.
The incident happened in Grain High Street, at about 11.40am on Monday, April 11, but has only just come to light.
Ms Brown, 36, said: “I was really scared at the time and later had to go Medway Maritime Hospital to have the wound treated.
“I have had some communication with the owner on Facebook and she has said she will muzzle the dog when it is out but I think this is not good enough.
“What if the dog attacks someone else, especially a child?”
The dog owner, who did not want to be named, said: “I have been interviewed by police and I have apologised to Alison on several occasions.
“It was out of character for Max. He has never bitten anyone before. He is not a vicious dog and I have promised when I take him for a walk from now on, he will be muzzled at all times.
“I am also undertaking more training with him .”
Police confirmed inquiries were ongoing.
