Student artist Tasha Collins has certainly made her mark on a new hair and beauty salon in Strood.
Tasha's exotic artwork now adorns the walls of the Prim and Proper business in Darnley Road.
The 19-year-old, who is studying illustration and animation, answered an advert placed by salon owner Penny Edwards.
She has spent the last two years shadowing professional mural artist Dean Tweedy -and this is the first job she has completed on her own.
Tasha from Cuxton, said: "It was a really big deal for me, a challenge. Being an artist I'm always critical of my own work But I am proud with what I have done."
While Tasha and Penny discussed the vintage hair and beauty theme, it was very much left to her artistic flair.
Currently in her second year at the University of Creative Arts in Canterbury, she would like to become a full- time mural artist.
She said : " I managed to do it over three weeks in my summer break working around staff and customers."
Tasha who lives with her parents Faye and Dean and brother Brendon 13, said : " I like to do something that's really mesmerised. for instance if I did a child's bedroom I would want them to be mesmerised."
Tasha also believes there should be more bright murals in towns where people cannot fail to see them.
She said: "Too many people these days don't look around them or up above . They are too busy looking down at their phones."
Penny, who also has another business by the same name in Tonbridge, said : "Tasha is an absolute find.
"When designing the look of the salon it was important to create an environment that matched our vintage style branding but also a place where our clients and perspective clients will just love to visit and talk about their experience. The artwork was a very important part of that ethos.
"It was a natural decision to commission the work to a local budding artist.
"Tasha set to work with such passion. Staff and clients just loved her fun loving approach to life.I’m definitely going to ask Tasha to add to it."
