More shocking videos have emerged showing the moment New Year fireworks were set off in a residential street.
The scenes were recorded in the Luton Road area of Chatham on New Year's Eve, leading neighbours to describe the situation as a "warzone".
As reported yesterday, people were left stunned and scared as fireworks exploded near homes and parked vehicles.
The new footage comes as a ward councillor for the area calls for "robust" action to be taken over the matter.
Cllr Tristan Osborne (Lab) said: "We are concerned about the incident, especially as videos show fireworks launched at vehicles and in the middle of residential streets.
"While this was New Year, it is clear from videos and reports people were not acting appropriately and it has scared the community.
"This incident was clearly anti-social behaviour and the community have expectations those involved should be challenged robustly."
He added he'd written to police top brass expressing concerns and asking for an update on what officers might be doing.
KentOnline has attempted to contact the person who posted the latest videos online in the hope of speaking to those involved.
But we are yet to receive a response. We also asked for comment from police and Kent Fire and Rescue.
A witness on the night who lives in nearby Grange Hill said: "Fireworks were hitting my house and car.
"I also called the police as they nearly set a van on fire and were also setting fireworks off on the roof of a car and in the middle of the road.
"Police did not show. It was like a war zone – children crying, cars could not get past and people were worried as they could not walk past."
