Nolan Boike replaces Johan Stenvall at Invicta Dynamos

Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish has moved quickly to find a replacement for Johan Stenvall.
Parrish has signed Irish-American Nolan Boike, who was due to fly in from the States on Thursday and – subject to his international registration being completed in time – will make his debut at Milton Keynes Thunder on Saturday.
Stenvall’s surprise decision to return home to Sweden last week left Dynamos short of numbers up front.
But Parrish had already been tipped off about Boike’s availability by Stenvall’s agent and said: "We are lucky to have captured a player of Nolan’s calibre because it wouldn’t have been long before other clubs found out he was available.
"He played in the French Elite League last season and is a big, strong forward who will provide the sort of physical presence up front that we have perhaps been lacking this season."
The ENIHL Division 1 South fixture list has been kind to Dynamos this month, with double-headers against Milton Keynes and Peterborough plus matches against Haringey Greyhounds and Streatham Redskins, who are also in the bottom half of the table.
But that all changes at the start of December, when Invicta face back-to-back matches against Chelmsford who are only one point behind Dynamos in second place.
For the moment, however, points against the league’s strugglers is Parrish’s priority and he is also hoping to have another signing, Ryan Giles, available to face Milton Keynes.
Giles, who has returned to Invicta after a spell with the Romford Raiders, was prevented from playing last weekend by illness.
