Officers called to Twydall Green Co-Op in Gillingham after robbery

Men clad in balaclavas have raided a store.

Officers were called to the Co-Op in Twydall Green, Gillingham, between 9.30pm and 10pm on Friday.

Police spokesman Steve Knight said: "It was reported that two men wearing balaclavas stole cigarettes and a quantity of cash from the till.

"Inquiries into the incident are ongoing."
