Olly Murs is recuperating after knee surgery with help from the University of Kent.
The Voice coach and singer uploaded a video to his Instagram and Facebook accounts on Tuesday which shows him using an anti-gravity treadmill at the university’s School of Sports and Exercise Science facility at the Chatham campus.
Murs is continuing his recovery, having had knee surgery last year.
“After six months of sitting at home doing loads of rehab, getting on that was the most rewarding thing that I have done in a long time,” said Murs. “I feel absolutely amazing.”
The 35-year-old continued: "If any of you are struggling with your ACL [anterior cruciate ligament] or any knee injuries, get involved [with using the facilities at the University of Kent].
"It’s been the most amazing day.
"This machine is incredible and I will be coming back."
Murs was accompanied by friend and former Ebbsfleet United player, Cody McDonald, and a member of staff at the university called Harry, as well as two students.
University staff helped him through an Alter-G programme at 75% of his bodyweight, a spokesman said.
They also worked with three other players from Ebbsfleet United undergoing their recovery.
After shooting to fame with The X Factor in 2009, Murs’ career has gone from strength-to-strength.
He performed at Kent's Spitfire Ground at Canterbury in 2017.
