Chatham boss Paul Foley wants his players to show the same qualities which have served them well over the past month when they make the trip to former Ryman League, Division 1 South leaders Leatherhead on Saturday.

The Surrey side have dropped off the pace since the New Year, winning only one of their last six games and Foley hopes the 3-1 midweek win against Eastbourne Town is the boost Chats need.

Youngsters Billy Parkinson and Francis Tshikaya made their home debuts in the game. Parkinson, 18, has joined on a dual registration from Cray Wanderers and is the younger brother of Welling skipper Jack, and Tom, who plays for Maidstone United.

Foley said: "The win will give us a lift going into a tough game but, if we show the effort, workrate and attacking football we have in previous games, we will hopefully give them a good workout.

"With two players making their debuts, six players missing and Jon Hogg arriving late, this was a big win for a young side."
