A man had to be cut from his car and treated by paramedics after a crash.

Two fire crews from Strood were called to the incident involving two vehicles on Watling Street, Rochester, at 5.20pm last night.

They used hydraulic cutting equipment to get a male casualty out of his motor and handed him over to the care of paramedics.

The crews left the area by 6pm.
