Services stopped at Rochester after person hit by train

A person has survived being hit by a train at Rochester tonight.
The person was struck near Rochester Station at about 8pm, but survived the impact and has been removed from underneath the train.
They are believed to have suffered life-changing injuries.
Long delays are affecting Kent commuters and passengers at Rochester were held on trains while the person was recovered.
Paramedics and British Transport Police were called to the scene.

Other services have been stopped at Ebbsfleet.
Buses have brought in to replace delayed trains.
