A popular pizza chain was forced to shut for two days for a COVID-19 clean.
Pizza Express in Rochester High Street closed to customers on Monday and Tuesday before re-opening on Wednesday.
Staff took the action after being informed by their head office they had received an alert from track and trace telling them someone with coronavirus had been in the restaurant.
During the two-day closure the site was cleaned and left empty for 48 hours.
However, the manager dismissed rumours it was a member of staff who had the virus and referred KentOnline to the company's head office, who have been approached about the matter.
