A park has once again been targeted by vandals - who have sprayed racist messages in the children's play area.

A dad walking his young daughter to school this morning and stumbled across the disturbing messages at Jackson’s playing field in Rochester.

Darren Kett spotted a Nazi swastika and anti-Jewish filth daubed over the recreation equipment in New Road.

The offending graffiti

Mr Kett, 44, a warehouse worker, was so disgusted that he posted the pictures on social media demanding that the wording be removed as quickly as possible.

One of the messages reads '**** Jews' with a Nazi swastika.

The father-of-three from Rochester: “You don’t expect to see this sort of thing anywhere let along a place where kids got to play."

He ushered six-year-old Alesha out of view, but she recognised the swear word.

WPWW is a common white supremacist acronym that stands for White Pride World Wide

Another message reads '14/88 WPWW'. 14/88 is a term recognised by white supremacists and WPWW may refer to a common white supremacist acronym that stands for 'White Pride World Wide'.

A further message, not pictured, appears to be a racial slur directed at black people.

Mr Kett added: “We had five minutes to spare, and Alesha wanted to go on the swings. I was absolutely appalled to see this.

The discovery coincides with World Holocaust Day on Saturday, which commemorates the murder of some six million Jews by Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime during the Second World War.

The play area was previously targeted in February last year

The park was previously targeted in February last year when a sinister Nazi symbol was spray-painted onto a slide and other messages were sprayed on the ground.

Medway Council is thought to be sending someone to the park today.
