It comes after officers were called to the residential street on Wednesday morning to reports two men aged 52 and 33 had been assaulted by three people who were known to them.

Both men were taken to hospital, with the older victim having suffered head injuries. They have since been discharged.

Officers, including armed units and the police helicopter, searched for the suspects.

The road was closed off for several hours in the aftermath, with several police cars and officers seen in the street.
