Police called to M2 in Strood after person spotted on bridge

Police were called to a bridge after concerns were raised for a person.

It happened just before 10pm last night on the M2 bridge between Junction 2 for Strood and Junction 3 for Rochester/Chatham coastbound.

Traffic was stopped whilst police carried out their inquiries, but no one was located.

Drivers were tweeting messages to Highways England to find out what the delay was.
