Police responding reports of an assault were seen outside a house in Rochester.

At around 7pm yesterday eight officers were seen at house in Rochester Avenue.

A spokesman for police said: "At around 7pm officers attended addresses in connection with inquiries into a reported assault.

"No arrests were made and the investigation is continuing."
