Police investigating robbery at former Co-op petrol station in Watling Street, Strood

A woman was "left in bits" after a robbery at a petrol station yesterday morning.
Police were called to the former Co-op site in Watling Street, Strood, at around 12.35am, to reports of a robbery.
One man, whose wife saw the incident, said: "To the man that robbed the Co-op at Strood last night and left my wife in bits, I will find you."
The petrol station is now owned by Asda who declined to comment on the matter while a police investigation is ongoing.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 12.36am on Tuesday, November 29, to a report of a robbery at a business premises in Watling Street, Strood. Inquiries are ongoing."
