Police were called for a second time in two days to reports of travellers in an unauthorised encampment in the Towns.
Officers were called to a field in Beechings Way, Gillingham , at around 4pm yesterday to deal with the issue.
Police confirmed they were moved from the site after working with Medway Council.
It came one day after a group of camper vans were reported in the car park in Blue Boar Lane, Rochester , at around 8.45pm, and police were seen at the site yesterday morning.
The force confirmed reports of an "unauthorised encampment" and, similar to the Beeching Ways site, worked with the landowner to move them on the following day.
Rochester West Cllr Stuart Tranter said the group had since been served with a notice to move on under the Section 61 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.
And he believed the action had followed an altercation in the High Street.
"We were told they will be escorted out of Medway," he said. "There were 14 police officers this morning and they don't get that involved unless there's a public order concern."
Police confirmed the two incidents were not related.
