Drivers were stuck in bottlenecks after a multi-vehicle pile-up on the M2 London-bound this afternoon.

A stretch between J2 for the A228 at Strood and J1 for Grain has been affected after the crash earlier this afternoon.

Three lanes have been closed, while lane four has been kept open.

Rescue crews are on the scene.
