Shops at a retail park are having problems taking payments after workmen knocked out their internet.

Stores, including Pets at Home and Homebase, at Horsted Retail Park, in Maidstone Road, Chatham are currently without internet or phone lines.

It means that they are only accepting cash payments from customers.

It's thought to have happened after workers on the site for the new Aldi, KFC and Home Bargains developments "went through a cable".

One customer at the retail park said business is very quiet as a result.

A member of staff from Pets at Home confirmed the internet outage, adding that shop is still open but people can only pay with cash.

More as we get it.
