RUBBISH dumped in and around the River Medway is being targeted in a three-year campaign starting in April.

The Medway Valley Countryside Partnership and Kent Enviropower will be working with numerous groups and agencies to tidy up the river and its banks.

The campaign aims for a safer and tidier river and to make people think more closely about the environment.
