Lorry hits central barrier on A229 Blue Bell Hill, near Chatham

There were delays on a main road after a lorry collided with the central reservation.

Emergency services attended the northbound carriageway of A229 Blue Bell Hill, towards Chatham, earlier this evening.

A spokesman from Kent Police said: "Kent Police attended Blue Bell Hill on the A229, following a report that the trailer of a lorry has collided with the central reservation.

"Officers were called to the scene on the Chatham-bound carriageway at around 4.50pm on Thursday 11 March 2021. No injuries have been reported.
