A busy road will be closed for the next three days due to waterworks.

Southern Water engineers are in North Street, Strood, to restore the road after previous repairs.

The road is closed up to its junction with Gun Lane.

The team began work this morning and are due to finish on Friday.

Southern Water says it is expected to be short-term project and it apologises for any inconvenience caused.
