Police have released an e-fit of a man they want to talk to in relation to a mugging near a Strood supermarket.

The 63-year-old man was approached by a mugger just before 3pm on February 10 as he walked to his car, in the Adsa store car park in North Street.

He had gone into the Post Office earlier to get some money out and had put the cash in his left pocket before walking back to his car.

However, as he got to the vehicle, he was challenged by another man who snatched the cash out of his pocket and a struggle ensued.

It is understood the robber then made off with about £200 leaving the man, who is from Strood, shaken but uninjured.
