Not many of us would pick a spot around the Medway City Estate in January to bask in the sunshine.

But now the hunt is on to find a seal which looks to have taken a break at the side of the River Medway.

This photo sent in by reader Gareth Rees appears to show what looks like a grey seal resting on a jetty in the bottom left of the picture.

The centre of the pictures shows the tower on top of Chatham's Pentagon Centre in the background.
