Second man charged following alleged stabbing in Copenhagen Road, Gillingham

Detectives have charged a second man following a suspected stabbing in a residential street.
The victim was flown to a London hospital following the alleged attack near Copenhagen Road, Gillingham, last week (August 6).
Police officers, paramedics and air ambulance crews were called with the helicopter landing in the Great Lines Heritage Park at around 4pm.
The victim, a 19-year-old man, has since been discharged from the hospital and two men were arrested in connection with the incident.
Etinosa Ojo, of Thorold Road, Chatham, was previously charged by investigators with wounding with intent and was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (August 14).
The 19-year-old has since been remanded to Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, September 9.
Tyrese Scott, of Pemberton Rise, Teynham, has now also been charged with the same offence appearing before Medway Magistrates’ Court on yesterday (August 15).
The 20-year-old was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, September 13.
Officers are continuing to appeal to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact the appeal line.
