An owner's put out an appeal amid fears a missing 18-month-old python could be suffering without water in the heat.

Ziggy went missing from her home late on Monday bank holiday, May 28.

The yellow and black snake has been missing for two months from her home in Wakeley Road, Rainham near Rainham Recreation Ground.

Owner Lianne Partington said: "She is much loved, we miss her terribly and if she has escaped the house then she may have made her way over towards the park (Rainham Recreation Ground).

"She would hide under bushes, so if dog walkers could investigate if a dog seems curious, that would be great.

"She would be happy with the hot weather as long as she has a water source.

"Our biggest fear is if she hasn’t found water then she will die of thirst.

Ziggy is an 18 month old python, of Wakeley Road, Rainham (3305732)

"She is also very used to being handled as my son would get her out each night for a cuddle.

Ziggy, who is around 3.5ft long, is non venomous and if she strikes it would be in fear.

She can go up to four months without food and lives on a diet of nothing bigger than a mouse.

She is non venomous and would only strike out of fear (3305734)

People should look out for snake skin as she sheds once a month.

If spotted please call Lianne Partington on 07980862007.
