National newspapers are reporting the son of British jihadist, Sally Jones aka the White Widow, was killed at the same time she was.
The US drone strike which claimed the life of Sally Jones also fatally injured her 12-year-old son, according to the reports from western intelligence sources.
The one-time punk rocker Jones, who used to live in Chatham and took her son, JoJo Dixon to Syria in 2013.
She was killed by a Predator missile strike near the border of Iraq and Syria in June last year.
Previous reports after the strike suggested JoJo was still alive and was not with his mother when her convoy was targeted.
Jones, a mother-of-two, was world’s most wanted female terrorist, before her death.
It was believed JoJo was 35 miles away at the time in the town of al-Shaafa where he was said to be living with other western children and ISIS fighters.
Jones, 50, took her son to Syria with her when she travelled to join the caliphate and marry terrorist hacker Junaid Hussain.
The warped mum reportedly used JoJo, as a human shield to protect herself when she ventured outside.
The boy’s British father spoke out over the brain-washing of JoJo with reports he had been forced to execute prisoners.
However, reports in some of today’s national newspapers say it is now believed he was with his mum in the convoy that was targeted and they were both killed.
A source quoted in the publications, said: “It’s 99.9 per cent certain they were both killed.”
