Rock Your Baby singer George McCrae to play soul finale of Castle Concerts, Rochester

Get out your dancing shoes because Friday night is Soul Party night at this summer's Castle Concerts.
The final night of this year’s musical extravaganza features a guest appearance from the legendary George McCrae who headed up the Miami Sound.
Relive your favourite floor-filling hits with your friends at the party, back by popular demand on Friday, July 12 in the Castle Gardens.
The all-star cast will bring the vibe of Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Lionel Richie, Barry White and many more to life.Dance to timeless soul classics such as Respect, I Feel Good and River Deep - to name just a few.
McCrae rocketed to fame in the 1970s with the smash hit Rock Your Baby and continued to set the music world on fire with two platinum singles, two platinum albums and 14 gold records along with top music awards from all over the globe.
Rock Your Baby sold in excess of 52 million copies making it one of the biggest selling pop records in history. Voted the Number one Single of the Year by Rolling Stone Magazine.
Tickets went on sale today at 10am and cost £37.50 per person with no booking fees. The price has not increased since Soul Party rocked Rochester Castle Concerts two years ago. Book early to avoid disappointment.
