A student is devastated after thieves broke into her car and stole her A-level work.

Naomi Smith, 18, had parked her black Vauxhall Corsa outside the family home in Winston Road, Strood, last night.

This morning (Friday) she discovered the passenger window had been smashed and her bag stolen.

Mum Sarah said: “It was the only thing to be taken from the car. It contained her A-level work, including all her revision notes. It is completely worthless to anyone else but to Naomi it is hugely important.”

The bag is a River Island oversized handbag and it is beige in colour.

Naomi is due to take A-levels in maths, chemistry and biology at Rochester Independent College in June.

The theft happened between 10pm yesterday and 6.30am this morning. It has been reported to Medway Police.
