Five suspected migrants have been discovered in the back of a lorry near an airport.

Police and paramedics were called to Laker Road in Rochester after welfare concerns were raised at 5.30pm yesterday.

The five people were checked over at the scene near Rochester airport.

Officers handed them over to the Home Office immigration enforcement facility in Dover.
