16-year-old girl taken to hospital after falling from a horse and injuring her head and neck near Higham

A teenager was taken to hospital after an accident involving a horse.

The 16-year-old girl fell from the half tonne animal at 3.07pm on Tuesday.

Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air ambulance were called and landed in Rochester to help the girl who had fallen off near Higham.

Land ambulance crews arrived first on scene and she was taken by them to Kings College Hospital in London with a potential head and neck injury.
