Two teenagers charged with drug offences after being arrested in Medway

Two teenagers have been charged with drug offences after being arrested in Medway.

Officers seized £3,000 cash and more than 213 packets which they believed to contain heroin and cocaine during the incident in Longhill Avenue, Chatham, on Thursday 15 September.

A 17-year-old from Kings Lynn, Norfolk, has been charged with two counts of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.

Four teenagers have been charged with 30 offences

The other suspect, also aged 17 and of no fixed address, was charged with one count of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply and one count of possessing a knife.

Both have been remanded into local authority care to appear in court at a future date.
