You need to be able to sing, dance... and snooze.
If you can do all three perhaps you have a chance of performing alongside Voice star Jamie Johnson in pantomime this Christmas.
Producers of Sleeping Beauty – The Frozen Fairytale Pantomime, being staged at the Britannia Theatre at Dickens World, are looking to cast the key part of panto princess, Aurora.
And they have decided to cast a local girl in the role.
The successful applicant will win a professional paid contract to appear in 24 performances at the Chatham Maritime venue in December.
She will appear alongside The Voice finalist Jamie Johnson, who is playing the prince and Mr Baffled and Jade from television’s Go!Go!Go! on Nick Jr.
You don’t necessarily have to be experienced on the stage to apply but you do have to fit the bill in the following ways:
Be aged between 17 and 30
Be able to sing and dance
Live in Kent
Whoever is chosen will need to be available for performances from December 9 to January 4 plus time for rehearsals in late October and again in late November.
The show is being put on by the Britannia Theatre in association with Ten 98 Entertainment.
A spokesman described it as a classic tale of good versus evil in a fun-filled production of music, magic and mayhem.
Jamie, 20, who reached the final four of The Voice under the guidance of pop princess Kylie Minogue, has gone on to sing at many gigs including supporting Westlife’s Shane Filan at the Castle Concerts.
Sleeping Beauty auditions will be held at the theatre on Thursday, October 9 so applications need to be received no later than 5pm on Monday, October 6.
To apply, please email a photograph, a brief CV and (if possible) a short video or audio file of you singing to beauty@sleepingbeautypanto.com.
