Firefighters were called out to two electrical fires and a lorry fire overnight.
Two pumps from Medway and Strood attended a lorry fire in a yard near Buckmore Park, Maidstone Road, Chatham at 5.05am.
A chipper lorry had gone up in flames and caused another nearby lorry to catch fire as well.
The owner of the yard raised the alarm and nobody was inured.
Police also attended and the cause of the blaze is believed to be suspicious.
Earlier in the evening an elderly lady had to evacuate her home in Woodlands Court, Walderslade Road, Chatham.
Smoke filled her home because of an electrical fault in her electric fire.
She was unharmed and two pumps from Medway arrived at 7.50pm and cleared the smoke within 30 minutes.
Another electrical fire, this time at a home in Harvel Road, Strood, saw a pump from Medway and from Strood called out.
The occupant, believed to be a middle aged woman, was not injured but firefighters had to use breathing apparatus to extinguish a small fire and clear the smoke.
