Two-year-old boy taken to King’s College Hospital with head injuries after being hit by a car in Dale Street, Chatham

A toddler was taken to hospital with head injuries after being hit by a car.

The two-year-old boy was hit in Dale Street, Chatham, yesterday at 2pm.

SECAmb and the air ambulance both attended and the youngster was found to have an injury to his head.

A spokesman for SECAmb said: "We worked together to treat the boy, who did suffer head injuries but was fully conscious at the scene. His injuries needed to be checked further at hospital."

He was taken to King’s College Hospital by road, which took 40 minutes.

He also had minor injuries to his arm and his torso.
