Traffic stopped both ways on M2 near J3 as police deal with incident

Traffic held on the M2 by police is now able to move again.

Officers had temporarily held traffic in both directions on the motorway at J3 for Chatham and Rochester.

Traffic was stationary while police attended the incident for around half an hour.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at around 5.40pm to a report of concerns for a woman... Patrols attended the scene but the woman had left prior to their arrival."
