Travellers have set up camp in a town centre.

Caravans have been seen in Chatham Riverside car park beside Chatham Community Hub, off Dock Road this morning.

Cavarans pitched up in the Riverside car park in Chatham on Wednesday, November 6. (21027072)

It comes as travellers were asked to leave a shopping centre car park early this week.

They arrived at Rainham precinct on Sunday.

After the council ordered them to leave, they had departed the site by this morning.
