Much-loved Medway nurse Hannah Jackson dies after battle with coronavirus

Tributes have been paid to Medway hospital nurse Hannah Jackson, who has died after contracting coronavirus.

Friends and colleagues took to social media to pay tribute to Hannah, who had moved from Dominica to work for the NHS.

James Devine, chief executive of Medway NHS Foundation Trust said: “Sadly I can confirm that Hannah Jackson, a Staff Nurse at Medway Maritime Hospital has passed away.

“Hannah was a much-loved colleague who was dedicated to caring for others. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of working with her, and will remain forever in our hearts.”

“On behalf of everyone here at Medway I would like to offer our sincere condolences to Hannah’s friends and family."

Posting on a social media, friends and colleagues said Hannah had been a brilliant nurse and also sent their condolences to her family.
