Police appealing for witnesses after three assaults in High Street and Formby Road, Halling

Two women and a man were assaulted on Boxing Day in the village of Halling and police investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses.

Officers are investigating reports of an incident which happened between 9.50pm and 10.10pm on Saturday, December 26, where the trio reported they were assaulted.

Police have been criticised

It is thought they had earlier been enjoying a band at the Newtown Social Club in Formby Road.

A spokesman for police said: The assaults are alleged to have taken place in Formby Road and High Street, Halling.

“Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident.”
