Arrests made after man's death at Medway Hospital

A man has died and two people have been arrested after an incident believed to have happened at Grove Road, Strood.

Officers were initially called to Medway Hospital at 5.40pm on Friday, June 26, following a "report of concern" for a 38-year-old man, who later died.

Forensics teams were then seen at a taped-off house in Grove Road on Saturday afternoon.

A 43-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

They have been released on conditional bail to return in early August whilst enquiries continue.
