Armed police and helicopter surround house in Luton Road, Chatham

Two men were arrested after firearms officers entered a house during an armed stand-off overnight.
Police were called to Luton Road in Chatham at 9.10pm following reports a person had been seen in the area potentially carrying a weapon.
Armed response units rushed to the scene, with a police helicopter also scrambled.
A house was entered and two men were arrested and taken into custody.
Officers remained at the scene after the arrests undertaking further searches inside the property.
People inside the cordon had used social media to document events while dozens watched in the streets and thousands online.
Live video showed a number of black-clad and masked officers with large guns. A dog handling unit was also in attendance.
Several officers at one point left the house and an officer could be heard asking: "How was he?", to which a returning colleague responded: "Yeah, all right."
