Two cars crashed in Luton Road, causing traffic disruption.
The two blue vehicles collided just outside the Co-op store just before noon and the road was temporarily closed.
One had its bonnet almost completely smashed in. Two police cars and an ambulance and a paramedic car attended at the scene.
Adults and children were involved in the crash, but none of them required hospital treatment.
A police spokeswoman said earlier: "We were called at 11.54am to reports of a two car collision.
"Ambulance crews are at the scene and the road is currently blocked."
