RNLI towed a broken down motorboat to Gillingham Pier with two people on board

Two people on board a broken down boat had to be rescued by the RNLI yesterday.

The 16ft motorboat Griffin broke down on the River Medway and at 1.11pm the Sheerness RNLI Inshore Lifeboat and Medway Coastguard Rescue Team were called in to help.

The boat was towed to Gillingham Pier.
