Customers at a popular garden centre will now be able to get their Waitrose shopping alongside their pots and plants.

Dobbies in Gillingham has launched a new foodhall offering in conjunction with the upmarket retailer at its Courteney Road store.

From today shoppers will be able to choose from a selection of products including the Essential Waitrose range.

Chilled, frozen and store cupboard essentials, as well as free-from, vegan ranges and a range of wines and spirits are available to purchase.

Gillingham is one of more than 45 Dobbies foodhalls across the UK where Waitrose food and drinks are being launched.

General manager Jay Kirk, said: “The foodhall at our store is very popular and the team is really positive about Waitrose being part of the shopping experience for customers.

"Our existing partners will continue to be part of offering, including Lindt, Whittards, the Cook range, as well as our fresh bakery to-go.

"Waitrose products will be an excellent addition.”

In celebration of the launch Dobbies is offering five lucky customers the chance to win their foodhall shopping for free at the Gillingham store.

Five shoppers will be selected at random between today and March 1, to receive the contents of their foodhall shopping basket.

Winners will be selected by the team members at the till point. There are also a limited number of £5 off £25 vouchers available in store.
