The image of a man driving half a car sounds like something from an episode of Top Gear or maybe even Grand Theft Auto.
But this week one Medway motorist got behind the wheel of his "head turner" of a 1998 Ford Galaxy for a quick tear around the yard.

It comes after dad Lee Attwood, from Walderslade, reluctantly put his quirky "half car" trailer up for sale.
Photos posted online showed the quirky green people carrier he had sawn in half and reconverted into a hanger with Looney Tunes' Tasmanian Devil emblazoned on the side.
In a style befitting MTV's Pimp My Ride the Ford's interior has been kitted out with a TV, radio and five LED lights.
There are also two plugs with built-in trip protection, the floor is insulated and carpeted, and it comes with a three-inch memory foam double mattress to sleep two adults comfortably.
Facebook users commented "brilliant" and "love this" with one remarking: "This is honestly the weirdest thing I have ever seen."
But just what the Chatham dad had done with the remains of the vehicle had been a mystery, until now.
In a follow-up video shared online, Lee joyously takes the other half for a quick spin around the back garden.
It remains unclear whether he managed to get out of second gear or not.
Meanwhile, the owner has described the camper conversion, which remains up for sale with a starting price tag of £1500, as a "fun little camper" and a "real head turner".
Setting out the reasons for parting with his creation, Lee said: "I built this a few years ago for me and my daughters to get a bit of the great outdoors.
"I have used it a few times but unfortunately due to the last year we have not got the use out of it and now our family has grown we require something bigger."
He added: "It tows great, has fully working brakes, all tyres are good including spare, towing electrics are all wired to original lights.
"The roof box is included. The only bad point is the front panel could do with professionally painting as I was in a hurry to use it and did it myself."
