A woman had to be cut from a car following an accident on Borstal Road, Rochester, this afternoon.

Firefighters from Medway and Strood were called to the scene around 3.40pm.

The car carrying the woman and a man is believed to have spun off the road into a ditch.

A spokesman from Strood station said she was suffering from a minor head injury and shock.
