An elderly woman has died after being hit by a bus.

The fatal collision happened at around 2.15 yesterday (May 9) at Waterfront Bus Station, in Chatham.

Police and ambulance crews attended and the victim was declared deceased at the scene.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out inquiries and are also urging witnesses and anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
