A woman has been found dead at a property in the Towns.

Officers were called to Luton Road, Chatham, by the ambulance service at around 4.50pm yesterday.

Upon arrival the body of a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene was found.

The road was closed near Luton Arches while emergency services carried out their investigation.

The woman's cause of death is unknown.

A police spokesman said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
