Two cars ended up in a field after an accident in Cliffe Woods.

A man driving past reported that the incident, in Town Road, involved three cars and a nearby telephone pole had also been knocked down.

Two vehicles were in a field while the third was still on the road.

It is believed to have happened just after 4pm today.

An ambulance was at the scene but it is not known if there were any casualties.
