Invicta Dynamos’ all-time highest points scorer Andy Smith will be returning to the club next season and has been appointed captain.
Smith starred again for the Dynamos last season with 48 goals and 54 assists taking his tally to 102 points for the campaign.
He has now registered an impressive 350 goals and 321 assists in 246 games, giving him 671 points for the club.
Parrish told the club's website: “Naturally we are delighted that Andy has chosen to remain with us.
“When you play like he does you will undoubtedly attract attention from other teams, but time and time again he opts to stay with the Dynamos and this just demonstrates both his commitment and how he feels about the club."
He added: "When the squad needs someone to step up to the mark he is always there and he has more than earned the respect of his team-mates with his performances during his time here. I have no doubt he will be an excellent captain."
Fans’ favourite Corey Watkins has also agreed to return to the Dynamos next season.
Watkins was the team’s 2010/11 player-of-the-year following his move to the Silver Blades Ice Rink from the Cardiff ENL Devils.
Parrish said: “Corey had an excellent first year with us at the Dynamos and I am very pleased that he has opted to return to us for another season.
“He delivered throughout 2010/11 and was quick to sign on for another term showing how keen he is to remain here in Gillingham.”
