Angry parents were left waiting hours for their children's Medway Test results.
Thousands of children were due to find out by email at 4pm yesterday if they were eligible to attend a grammar school.
But hundreds have reported not receiving their results until at least 10pm last night.

Sarah Jones, from Walderslade, got her son Elijah's results at 10pm but said a friend did not receive her child's result until 4.45am this morning.
She added: "Elijah was anxiously waiting. We were going to go out regardless of the result, but in the end he had to go to bed.
"The council was very quick to blame everyone else, saying it was people's servers causing the delay but it seems nobody got their results until around 10pm.
"The email I got just said 'your child' and did not have a name or a reference on it so I think until we get that paper version in the post I'm not going to be able to rest."
Tina Benning contacted KentOnline because she has two children who took the exams but only received one email, with no name on it so she did not know which of her son's it was referring to.
She said: "This is so unprofessional."
By 8.20pm more than 125 comments had been posted on Medway Council's service updates and information Facebook page complaining about the delay.
At 8.17pm Medway Council said on its Facebook page that all emails had been sent but could have been delayed by service providers.
A statement said: "Just to confirm that all emails with test results have been sent out today, as planned. We know that sometimes there is a delay in delivery through service providers but please be reassured that they have all gone out."
Alison Davis posted: "I think this is totally unacceptable, the stress it has caused anyway and now my son has had to go to bed without knowing the results."
Lynn McNalty said: "Come on Medway Council what is going on?? This is shocking how you are treating our poor kids!!!!! You are a joke, can't organise anything."
Another parent suggested a different system be used next year.
"If you are expecting your results by post, all letters went out as planned by first class post today."
More than 3,000 children from the Towns and other areas took this year’s 11-Plus exams in September.
Medway Council said it recognised the anxiety and disappointment felt by children having to wait, but heartfelt apologies had been issued to parents via social media.
"There was a small glitch but that was rectified and we sent all emails out by 6pm," said a spokesman.
"We are very sorry there has been a hold up.
"We will be looking into what's caused it."
